In conjunction with the Whitley County Historical Society, the Whitley County Historical Museum is home to a fascinating collection of historical artifacts and stories about the events and people who shaped – and continue to shape – Whitley County. The museum provides for the public exhibits, publications, and tours, as well as opportunities for collaboration, research, and educational programs. These include pieces commemorating Chief Little Turtle, local legends, and more. The museum is located in the home to former Indiana Governor and America’s 28th Vice President Thomas Riley Marshall. Pop in for a walk-in tour of Marshall’s former residence, built in 1874, or special programming.

That’s right – on your tour of the Kosciusko County Old Jail Museum, you can step into a jail cell that was used for solitary confinement, and learn about what punishments led to people being placed there for more than 150 years. Both guided and self-guided tours, including ghost tours, are available. Many rooms are preserved in time and feature photos and exhibits about life in Kosciusko County, including artifacts from John Dillinger, the Civil War, American Indian culture, and everyday items from decades past.

Creighton Brothers has been a family business since 1925 and is the second largest poultry operation in the Midwest – producing approximately one billion eggs annually.
