What is ProPEL?

ProPEL is an INDOT initiative for transportation planning that uses collaborative PEL studies to consider environmental, community and economic goals. Through the PEL studies, INDOT aspires to create smarter transportation systems that build stronger communities.

Together, we can ProPEL Indiana forward.

Study Overview

ProPEL US 30 is asking for the Hoosiers’ input as it continues planning studies along the US 30 corridor in northern Indiana. The study seeks to propel our communities forward by using a collaborative approach to address the transportation issues and desired outcomes that have been identified for each study area.

US 30 West

US 30 West: Study area extends from SR 49 (Porter County) to West County Road 700 North (Fulton County) and Beech Road (Marshall County).

US 30 East

US 30 East: Study area extends from Beech Road (Marshall County) to the Indiana/Ohio state line (Allen County).
